Day of liberty!

Bela's formula of freedom:

No work + sleep late + excessive time on hand = FREEDOM!

Happiness beyond description! Last day of work and I was so happy to the extent that I woke up on time and report on time for work. Woah.

Talk about motivation! LOLX!

Anyway, it was only until today that I discovered more yummy food at tanjong pagar! So sad, wish I had discover them earlier man! Well, looking on the brigth side, at least I gotten hold of them before I left.

Basically, I bought muffins, cupcakes & cliffon cakes at one go. They look too yummy to be resisted. At this point of time, I only managed to take pictures of the cupcakes...one of the muffins is in my stomach so unless you guys want an X-ray scan otherwise, haha =)

Hmm, let's sidetrack a little.

Post Christmas!

BOXING DAY.

Well, the long awaited Christmas passed like a breeze. Like what pastor said, there's a reason for the season. Christmas is not just about about feasting, exchanging presents etc but it is really all about Jesus Christ. Haha, the word Christ in Christmas speaks for itself =)

Happy birthday Jesus! I love you !

Frankly speaking, one of the best present I can ever received is the salvation of my loved ones. I really prayed that they can encounter God like how I did years ago...how my life was totally changed. From someone who is negative, lack of hope, lack of confidence, evil, always lying and cheating, a worrier to someone who is hopeful, contented, perfer light to darkness, wants to walk in righteousness. Yes, we have all done wrong things in our lives before...I mean. who hasn't? Those evil thoughts in our mind, secret jealousy, hatred we have towards others, those lies we tell as if we were speaking the truth..those deep dark secrets that we think only we know and choose to overlook it, all these made us feel 'unclean' in some ways. However, we can choose how we want to live our lives and start renew. Nobody is born a saint.

I used to be really evil. Always wanting to get things out of people and never want to lose out. Full of fear, evil thoughts, jealousy and even sunk into depression in my teens years but thank God for God who made me learn that I'm not alone and there's apowerful and almighty God who loves me so much that he sent his son Jesus to die for me. Only in His eyes, I'm worth much more than precious rubies and gold. He made me realize that I have so much value far more than what I thought I had. Well, it's so true to say that Christianity is not a religion...it's a relationship. I don't do things out of fear, I do things out of love for God. We love because He first loved us =)

Candlelight & Christmas 2009
Anyway, brought 7 friends to church this Christmas. I was really touched when Wai responded to the altar call with tears in her eyes. I'm so proud of her. I believe she felt God's presence during the candlelight service. It's really awesome and beyond words to express how I felt to see my primary school bestie making a decision to know God and love God more. No doubt,it's the best Christmas gift I've received this year.

Choir Ministry
Random to say but choir hasn't get back to me =( Oh man, after overcoming my stage fright and all, I still have yet to receive any calls since the audition. Well, they did say that we will only receive the results in 3 weeks time but I wonder why it feel sooooo long to the results. Anyway, I have decided that I will try again if I failed this time round because I want to fulfil my calling. No matter how hard it is, I will not give up. Waiting for the day...

Driving
Had my 3rd driving lesson today. Heavy rain just before I stepped out of the house -_-''' Thought that my driving lesson would be cancelled but it wasn't so no choice, got to travel in the midst of that heavy rain. Terribly soaked. I guess, the godd thing is that it's a good practice for me to drive in unfavourable condition? My first two lessons were at night so I overcomed darkness. Haha, now my 3rd lesson is in the heavy rain so I overcomed the weather? Hopefully, next lesson onwwards, I can drive under normal circumstances. TP in march >-< Work
I missed school man! Yes, you heard me right! Working life is really @#$^$**@*. Oh man, I dread going to work on mon =( Can't wait for school to start. Yet, I know reality is that I will graduate in 7 months time. What will be what be. I must go think of a job that can excuse me from sitting 8 hours in that office chair. So boring! I really literally can 'die' from an office job. It's just torturing me. H-E-L-P.

Year 2010
5 more days to a brand new year. Woah, time flies. Counting down because I believe next year is gonna be the best year yet to come. Time to start planning the goals and of course, take relevant actions . Anyway, wonder how will I be spending my countdown this year.

Agony
Trust me, it's an agony to be caught in such situations. On one hand, you don't want to spoil the friendship but on the other hand, you don't want them to waste their time, feelings and end up getting hurt. One of the things I hate to do is to hurt people. Yet , as the saying goes, 长痛不如短痛. If there's a need to , I rather I be honest with them than to drag the whole thing. So please, don't fall in love with me unless you are the One that I'm looking for. I hate to reject you all so please don't force me. Cruel as I may sound, but you all are just not my type. I pray with all my heart that you won't fall in love with me. Just keep the friendship there ok? PLEASE. My prince, faster come and pick me up with your white horse!

Okay.

So now I do know something things about him.

1. He is 6 years older than me ( he looked much younger than his actual age ok?)

2. and He's ENGAGED.

What a fruitful day =)

Yesterday was a real awesome day. I mean, yes, every Saturday is an exciting day because I have church service going on at expo hall 8...but yesterday was extra-ordinary.

This time round, only hongyi and me went for the blood donation at riverwalk. Well, I was really excited because it had been a while since my previous donation. For previous rounds, I was unwell and unfit for blood donation thus, disqualified as a donor. Yesterday's donation was successful. Hey, one packet of blood donated can save 3 lives ok? Think about it, it's no doubt a meaningful act =)

To those who has the thought of donating blood but didn't dare to try, hmm. The definition of pain is really subjective. Some one can cry over an ant bite but another can remain as if nothing happen when they knock their heads against some hard objects. Basically, its just a prick on your finger to test your haemoglobin level and then an injection (with painkillers of course) followed by inserting the tube and then after about 9 mins, its done. You save 3 lives....definitely a great sense of achievement I would say! Look forward to the next donation (around march) and then I realised We got to keep ourselves healthy , not just for ourselves but also for the people around us. If I keep falling sick, how can i donate blood to save others? Ok, got it. Another revelation received, haha!

After that, we rushed down to service. Initially when I reached church, I was feeling kinda tired and nauseous after the donation...but I was enduring throughout the praise & worship. Then came the time for sermon. When pastor said " Today message wouldn't be long. About 30 mins. After that I'm going to pray and lay hands on the COCs (connect group leaders) and PCGLs (potential cell group leaders)." I was like....oh man, did I hear wrongly? Pastor finally gonna lay hands on us!! I can't believe it! So happy that all sick feeling left me.

Well, Pastor preached about DREAMS. Whether Christians or non-Christians, we all have dreams =) Some of us dreamed of being a businessman, a teacher, a lawyer, an entertainer,a cellgroup leader etc but somehow due to people's negative comments or failed experiences, we tend to give up and go for something easier to reach. Yea, this is so true even for me! I used to dream of being a cellgroup leader but after I encountered some disheartening experiences, I gave up completely..thinking I just want to be a normal member so that I won't be blame for other people's mistakes...in my own comfort zone, just loving God and ignoring other things. Then the vision of being a cellgroup leader ultimately die down. Now I guess I have to ask God , whether His dream for me is to be a cellgroup leader,a songleader or both?

Anyway, completed bs for Eugene today. Yes, cleared another gs book =p Look forward to my next 'student'.

Random stuff. LADY GAGA seriously ROCKS! I don't care about her gender, her dressing or whatsoever, I'm talking about her music...she so talented. The way she can sing songs in so many different ways made music really alive! I mean some singers just sing the songs in the same old way (that's pretty boring to me -_-''') but GAGA is really daring to play with music, the lyrics and the rhythm. I simply LOVE her LIVE performance. Awesome singer,talented musician.
